High just W of Bermuda extends a ridge E thru 55W. Will drift E to near 33N/60W thru 19th/am, while building E thru S of Azores.
A gale is forecast over Newfoundland on 19th/PM with a cold front extending SW thru offshore New Jersey. It will move E to be centered near 48N/45W on 22nd/am, then weaken as it continues slowly E. Associated cold front will advance ESE to extend from near 45N/40W thru 35N/55W on 20th/PM. Will continue E to extend from 45N/40W thru 25N/40W on 22nd/PM.
Zone AA: Conditions will remain favorable over the next 48hrs. The gentle NE'ly breezes will continue over next 48 hours. Swells will gradually lower over next 24 hours as the cold front exits the zone. Squall activity will be minimal.
Zone CC: Conditions will remain favorable over next 48 hours. The gentle/moderate NW'ly breezes will veer to NE'ly breezes over next 12 hours and then the NE'lys will continue over the next 48 hours. Swells will gradually lower over next 48 hours as the cold front exits the zone. Squall activity will be minimal.
Zone DD: Conditions will be less favorable during next 48 hours due to the frequent gale activity expected across the Grand Banks. The swells that are associated with the active gale pattern across Grand Banks will be more prevalent in this zone compared to the more S'rn zones. The moderate to fresh NW'ly breezes are expected to continue over the next 48 hours with swells gradually lowering during this time. Isolated squall activity is expected over the next 12 hours in the N'rn portions of this zone.
