21 September, Southampton UK
The free Sailing South Seminar is ideal for anyone considering heading across the Bay of Biscay to cruise the coast of Portugal to the Med or on to the Canary Islands. Content is aimed at those thinking of joining ARC Portugal or the ARC, but all cruisers are welcome.
We'll cover all the important topics, like weather and routing, choosing and equipping the 'right boat', selecting and managing crew, communications at sea and essential safety equipment. We'll cover the ARC Portugal route in detail, providing information about the destinations.
There will be plenty of time to mix and mingle with fellow sailors, the World Cruising Club team and selected guests.
The session will start with teas, coffees and pastries, and will finish in time for you to enjoy a busy afternoon at the Southampton Boat Show.
