Sweet Dream - Day 174 July 8, 2019

The anchor came up clean( how we love sand!!) and we followed our track awhile as we took our leave of Waya. Soon we were following Danica and Babsea. Other than a lack of wind, it was a really nice day for changing anchorages. Danica and Babsea went around the outside of the islands toward Musket Cove, and we carried on down the inside until we came to Mana island. What a surprise! First, we were able to follow the ferry into the pass, second, there were proper red and green bouyage markers now where there used to be only sticks! Four years ago we followed a fishing boat in because there were only three sticks in the pass. Some progress is fantastic!! We found a nice spot near Someday, and shared the bay with 11 other boats, unlike four years ago when there were only two. There is plenty of room. The Mana Island resort is uber friendly to Cruiser’s. You check in at the front desk, are given a piece of paperwork and a map, and just like that, you are able to enjoy the whole beautiful place! We were content to walk about, admire the beauty of the place, and watch the sunset from the stunning beach.
