In the morning we availed ourselves of a couple more hours of WiFi, then attended the skipper’s briefing. Due to the big swells generated by the high winds of the past few days, we decided this was a perfect time to hop on a plane and visit Sydney for a few days. The boat is safe in Mackay marina, the weather window for Sydney is brilliant, and it just made sense to book it. We leave at 05:00 tomorrow morning! Today was spent packing for our little adventure, rolling out the entire anchor chain, flipping the attachments at the ends, remarking, and re rolling in in again. In the evening we attended the Bon Voyage party for Andrew And SWade. How we will miss them!
