Countdown to the Carib 1500 / ARC Bahamas Start

03 November 2016

While it's still too early to call it 100%, as of Thursday morning the weather forecast is looking good for an on-time start! Fingers are crossed across the skippers here in Portsmouth!

It's a full-day on the program today, kicking off with a morning of seminars on everything from rigging & sails to Cruising the Bahamas. Skippers and crew now need to start making the tough choice of attending all the events or working on their boats!

Almost all boats are now in Portsmouth and getting ready for the trip south. We just saw Pure Elegance heading out with the crew for a quick spin this morning, and met many of you walking up to today’s seminar.

Chuck O'Malley from Chesapeake Sailmakers taking about offshore sail repair.
