All over Europe, boats are now making their way down to Las Palmas for the start of the ARC in November. Crews meet other ARC participants by flying their ARC flags in port.
From 1 August the pre-ARC radio net starts at 0800 UTC on 8297kHz - listen-in or make a call and see how many other ARC boats with SSB are on the net. The net will grow as we get closer to November, so if you don't get an immediate response - keep trying!
 ARC boats Poco Loco, Zaurak and Heartbeat met in Oeiras Marina near Lisbon, and had their first 'unofficial' ARC party beside the pool last night! Getting in party mode ready for Las Palmas - thats what we like to see!
Also in Oeiras is Close Encounter, whose owner called the ARC office to say what a nice marina Oeiras is, and how impressed he was with the 50% discount offered to ARC boats!
