203 Boats in St. Lucia - IGY Rodney Bay Marina Party Tonight

Today is National Day in St. Lucia, and the ARC participants are gearing up for a party of their own, while the locals celebrate their big holiday.

Halo, Indaba, Bandido and Captain Morgan all arrived overnight or early this morning, bringing the fleet total in Rodney Bay to 203. Bandido is one of the yachts to have turned back for steering repairs, and got a later start, but made it safely across nonetheless and in time for the festivities tonight and the rest of the week.

Adam Foster and his staff at IGY Rodney Bay Marina are hosting the annual General Managers party tonight on the marina grounds. The party is always a hit, and should prove so again this year with so many boats on island. Food, drinks and live music will be set up in the open grassy area next to J dock from 1900 this evening, and all ARC participants and their families and friends are welcome.

The ARC Programme continues tomorrow with Chris Doyle's 'Cruising the Caribbean' lecture at 1500 in the Palm Haven Hotel across the street.
