Bluejay - Blog 29/11

Blog 29/11

Hopefully we are in our last day in light winds as our forecast is finally saying our trades are due to fill in tonight so we can finally see Bluejay fly. It has been a testing time of patience and we all cant wait to be cruising at 6-7knots + . The crew are definitely in the swing of things, and working well together and the banter is starting to build between them! Now our bread supply has run out from Las Palmas its time to bake our own - which I can already smell in the oven oozing through the galley. I got woken up last night with the watch Having sighted some strange lights flying by us very quickly. There was nothing on AIS or radar - was very strange! I wondered if it was something to do with us being at 22*22N 022*00W, if you know you know! Everyone eagerly waiting for more than a beaufort 2 - Alex
