S/y La Capitana is presently on the dry in its second home port of Garrucha, Spain (Finnish flag, port of registry is Porvoo).
Installation of satellite telephone, SSB receiver, fitting solar panel, engine maintenance, new sails, acquisitions of new and additional equipment, inspection of check lists etc. etc. What an enormous amount of money and work!
My wife Pirjo and I will set sails towards Las Palmas on November 2nd. The plan is to sail via Benalmadena, Casablanca and Lanzarote with an ETA to Las Palmas on November the 12th.
The crew for the Atlantic crossing arrives on the 19th. See you there!
