Glory - Glory Lagoon 42 log Day 19- salt life

We carried a water bladder with 160 litres of water in case our water maker stopped working. Today we will empty that water and use it to scrub some of the salt off the boat- the stuff is everywhere. Also we will re-organize our provisions. Some stuff will stay and other stuff ( like canned artichokes- yuck) will be given to the ARC for redistribution in St Lucia.
We are still fishing but just for sport. Yesterday we lost 3 really big fish. One at least was a Marlin as we saw it jump 3 times. Twice the line snapped and third one had a hook straighten. Time to upgrade the tackle...although when we are sailing along at 7 knots with no quick way to slow the boat down the odds are very heavily in Mr Fish’s favour, even running heavy tackle.
We just had dolphins playing off the bow...only the second time this whole trip but surely a good omen for the end of the journey!
