Attitude - Day 15 - Skipper Notes N17.53 W50.41

We are moving along very well, with more than 2300 Nm in the counter. Yesterday we took the right swells and wind to change course and start the final miles in a straight line to St Lucia, will take us 4 more days if the wind keep above 15 Kn.

Life and mood on board are going smooth and enjoyable with some stress moments when the radar advise us of a new squall in our direction, last night we have few, whish we handled pretty well.
The fish department was low on productivity as we are in the middle of the Atlantic (experts say ... there are not small fish there ...)

Early morning today I was called to take on board a new catch, guessing we are getting close to land.

The typical day after correct sails and look for the riding and cables are the plan of the miles ahead based on the weather forecast, charge batteries with the generator, produce bread (yes, we have fresh bread every day) and produce water (around 300 liters day).

The kitchen still one of the highlights (as you should expect in our boat):
-Breakfast - warm bread with scrambled eggs

-Lunch - guiosas to star and grilled meat, all together with some good Tempranillos and Sauvignon Blanc

-Dinner - sashimi form the catch (frozen 24 hours and some grilled fish)

All finished with Nespresso and some digestive.

As you can see the Atlantic crossimg was so far done with a reasonable standard.

We have been addressing all the technical issues with the unique support of Flisberto, the kitchen lead by Diogo, the sails run by Valadez and the planning all together at the table.

All for now ... we are expecting high seas and high winds for tonight (weather forecast) let’s prepare all for the challenge ahead!

Rui
