Adorsa - Adorsa news 07.12.2018

Adorsa's chronicles, Day 12
Good morning from Adorsa.
Sorry, we haven't been very good at giving news but we have been constantly
running out of sattelite data... But no worries everything is going for the
best!
We have now been at sea for 12 days and we still have around 1/3 of the way
to go. Approximate date of arrival in Saint lucia on the 12th of December.
We have been sailing with an average speed over 7 knots which is pretty
good for our old Adorsa. She seems to be enjoying herself and so are we!
She might not be totally retired after all! We are currently fighting
against "Degree of Latitude" for the first place of our Class (1G). Keep on
the good work Adorsa!
Judging by the stability and comfort on board, this boat has clearly been
designed for such sailing trips. We have been eating like kings since we
left (yes Junien's bread got way better) and Joséphine finally managed to
fish a big Mahi Mahi two days ago. Oh and on the 5th we had an amazing
cheese fondue in the middle of the atlantic!! Due to the big waves we
finally decided to eat it directly on the stove, which turned out to be a
wise decision. We are slowly running out of fresh vegetables but the
freezer is full of good home-made stuff! And the delicious cakes baked by
Jo make use of the ripe bananas, so everything is under control. Believe it
or not stock management is an art of itself!
As usual Serge is still asleep (sorry Serge, your retaliation will have to
wait!). While at the aft of the boat sleep deprivation is making our
captain demanding at times and we are running out of chocolate to sweeten
his mood... We'd better hurry up, Adorsa!
