This ridging will weaken near Madeira tomorrow as a cold front approaches the area. However, ridging is expected to persist between about 65W and 20W from 25N to 10N for the next several days. A gale centered near 42N/37W with an associated cold front extending SW to near 30N/45W. This gale will move ENE and be just north of the Azores tomorrow morning. At that time, the tail end of the cold front will be near 32N/30W. The gale will then lift NE towards 48N/18W through the evening of the 13/12 as the cold front begins to impact the Iberian Peninsula. This ridging covers waters from about 27N to 13N across much of the Atlantic. This ridging will remain in place for the next few days with no change. A gale centered near 40N/45W will move ENE to near 43N/34W through tomorrow morning, at which time an associated cold front will extend SW to near 30N/45W. This gale will be near 45N/25W by the morning of the 12/12 when the front extends across the Azores to near 30N/30W.
