Aquavita - Day 6 fine dining on the sea



At 08.00 we changed the Code 0 to asymmetrical spinnaker. Our speed went up again. At one stage we were going 7.5kt in 7.5kt apparent wind. Incredible!

It's my turn to cook today. For lunch I made seared salmon fillets with mango, avocado, carrot and cucumber. Apparently it was a hit with everyone. To empty some freezer space we devoured cones of ice cream for dessert. It's such a luxury to have fresh fruit and frozen dessert in the middle of the ocean. The bananas look over ripe now. A banana cake for afternoon tea is on the cards then.
