Lexington - Captain Bob: East London 11/20/2017

A bunch of us are tucked into a river at East London. We came down the coast until we met a low approaching front the south. Right before we got in the barometer dropped from 1016 to 1005 in 12 hours. We knew what the weather would be but a good rule of thumb is that if the barometer starts dropping you head for cover. We got in in the early morning and the low got in in the afternoon.
They have a nice small yacht club here. We are going in there tonight to have supper.
We went to a shopping mall and got a few things. We will hold up here until the low leaves, probably Thursday afternoon.
I hope all is well with everyone.
The photo is of the anchorage.
May fair winds fill your sails with good shelter
Bob
