Helen - Day 1 for Ed the Iguana on route to the Galapogas with ARC+

On board Helen, Ed the Iguana had a good day leaving Las Palmas at the
front of the boat with Eve and John, whilst waving goodbye to his yellow
shirted friends.

Once over the start the boat progressed well but one crew member was feeing
seasick. Ed kindly stepped in as the Ship's Doctor and kept his watchful eye
on the crew.

Ed's first watch was at 9pm where he joined Eve and John for some chocolate
before settling down to sleep at 11.30.

144 miles in the first 24 hours was a good run as the skipper sailed under
staysail alone to give everyone as good a night's sleep as possible in the
confused sea conditions.

Day 2 has started well with 2 turtles spotted and lots and lots of
Dolphins.

Best regards, Ed
