Adventure time! Sitting on my watch around 8am UTC, which technically is 4am local time, so night watch really, dark as hell, and I start to smell something... it's like all scents of the ocean combined in a diabolical cocktail that true rum hardened sailors drink for a breakfast. I smoked less for last few days, so I'm like "I can finally smell the ocean, makes sense!". Pretty happy with my new discovery we sail for some time until sun goes up and reveals smooth almost mirror like surface of the water. Wind is almost completely down to 2kt, freckles are nearly gone, the surface is gigantic liquid foil that is waving gently as we cut it in the half. I go down to our stern to film sun reflections sliding down the ocean, camera, action... it's pointless as nothing really looks the same when filmed, half of it is gone, half of it is wasted, brutally so on the ocean. As I put my phone down I see something on the water... we are dragging something, but WHAT IS THIS?!? Shit, we are dragging a raft! That is my ocean cocktail that I was sensing for an hour or so! For those of you who want to experience this delicious drink in-shore here's the recipe:

Lonely Raft Cocktail:
- an ocean water (sea water can do)
- a bunch of sea shells
- bamboo straws
- unknown species of cosmic space origin leeches (we named it "Wijce")
- handful of crabs
- a dead pale faceless fish
- algae overgrown net

Such drink can make you wasted pretty fast so it's wise to equip yourself in a tuna location beacon so you don't get lost. The one attached to the raft was not working and let this be a valuable lesson!

Szymon decided that this raft imposes a danger to smaller boats or even bigger ones if gets into a propeller, so we took it on board in order to dismantle it and recover as much waste (net, synthetic lines etc) as we can. Each bamboo stick drifted away to embark on its own adventure, same with its fauna, it's just for pale faceless fish that its journey has ended. We are pretty confident, however, that Wijce have already laid some eggs in our cabins soon to take over our boat... and ourselves! WIIIIJJJJJCEEEE!

As we stopped to loot the raft it gave us some sweet opportunity to swim in the ocean. Water was so warm and so salty! Some 5000m below my feet there was the bottom. When you think about ocean as of "reversed land" it gets to you that our habitat does not stretch 5-10km up (yeah, planes, same but different) and if humans were fish we would flying, but from the top to the bottom, and back again. It's so hot and I forgot to wear a hat, so that probably, yeah...
