Timshel - Passage inside the reef

Spent 2 nights at Volivoli in company with Taistealai and Lexington, Misto having set off next morning heading for Yadua Is. The two British boats had a lazy day just admiring the scenery, Lexington were much more energetic going ashore to eat and for an island tour, and Zeeland arrived. This morning Tuesday we set off at first light to wend our way round the channel inside the reef towards Lautoka. Beautiful sunrise, nice and calm and flat water, scenery very reminiscent of Scotland with bare hills - mostly we have found hills wooded right to the summits, don't think it can all be due to Winston. Motorsailing gently following Taistealai and the Magenta (brick) road on the electronic chart. Don't really like just driving on the chart but not much choice given the complexity of the route and the fact that most of the beacons are missing. Must highly recommend the Lexington Yacht Parts Service! We ordered some generator spares to be delivered to Bob's wife, Judy, and brought out with their next crew. She kindly phoned the company to confirm the address and gave then Lexington's credit card as we had missed off a number.
