Lexington - Captain Bob: 3/1/17 readership

It is interesting to see how diverse today's communication is. When we started out from St Lucia, Rodney Bay Marina, I got an email from someone at Morris Yachts. They had seen a post for the marina that had information indicating that we were there for the World Arc. Morris Yachts picked up that one of their boats was in the World Arc which was of interest to them. Morris Yachts was very nice to offer to help me along the way if they could be of help. I thought that was very nice of them to reach out to us. They also probably do not want one of their boats floundering.
Another boat in our fleet consists of an older owner and three young crew members. The younger crew are probably late 20's or early 30's. They appear to function very well together and have done very well sailing. They actually came in first I think for the last leg. Jack is the youngest and from Kent, England. The two others (Helen and Mic) are from the U.K. but I do not know exactly where. So we were milling around this morning at customs as a very slow process of checking out was occurring. In talking with them it turns out that Jack's mom and Helens mom are both reading our blog because their young children do not write enough. I was complimented to know I was helping a parent keep up with their kids.
So if you have an unusual connection with Lexington, please make a comment so I do not say anything wrong as is common with me sometimes.
And by the way hello to Helen's mom and Jack's mom. You both have lovely children. They are definitely adventurous. They might even settle down someday.
Here is hoping you are enjoying your day as much as I am today
