Wethomi - //WL2K 21. November 2016

Every morning all boats with HF-Radios on board (about half) meet on a designated frequency to share their positions and weather data and if necessary other matters. It is always nice to have contact with fellow atlantic crossers. Yesterday someone complained about the weather forecasters. Yes, he was and is right! The weather does what it wants to do and does not follow the weatherpeople's models. Never 100% predictable. I like it - though not always. Yesterday it was a real advantage for the boats at the rear end of the field: They had more wind. A bit like a handicap in golf. Something like David and Goliath or the turtle and the hare. The turtles love it!

What else happened?
Caught 2 fish. One a big Mahi-Mahi. About 5 kg. Delicious! Had the Parasailor pull us forward. Had fresh bread from Mindelo intergral flour. Had a good time.
