Lexington - Captain Bob : brisk sailing

We are on the way to Galapagos. We have had a nice 24 hours of sailing. The wind is coming over our right shoulder NNE at 16-30 knots. The seas started out moderately mild. Over the 24 hours the seas have built to 8-12 feet. Seas build with time and distance. The longer winds blow over a greater fetch ( distance over which the wind is blowing) the greater the seas are. We are due to have diminishing starting Sunday.
We are at latitude 05 57 north and 080 39 west. We will be crossing the equator.
Anybody got any suggestions for our crossing ceremony?
Bob
