Faraway - Faraway log 6, N 26.52.22 W 19.25.50, 22 November 2016

Good progress during the last 12 hours. As per the forecast, we got good winds as of 9pm yesterday and we have had fantastic conditions throughout the night with wind NNW 12-16 knots. Right now it is N 18-20 knots and we have 1 reef in the main sail and a reduced genoa. Around midnight we nearly lost our gangway and part of the water stored at the bow platform but Ricardo and Els noticed it, stopped the boat and rescued it all. Great acrobatics by Ricardo in the middle of the night! Nobody inside noticed, indicating everybody is at ease and sleeping well. We tried fishing yesterday evening but without success. Right now, I see the first pot of coffee flighing through the galley. Whilst Machteld and Doug clean it, they open a side hatch and a wave comes in, giving both a fresh shower :-)
