Widago - CV Leg (2): zzzzzzzz...zzzzzzz

Well, now I know what it feels like to be a house pet, or maybe an inmate in a federal prison. I spent probably 18 of the last 24 hours in a state of semi consciousness/ half sleep, some of which may or may not have been during my watches. Gotta love me some Sturgeron motion sickness pills.
After a lovely midnight to 4am watch, I enjoyed a brief respite until dawn at 7am. Beautiful sunrise BTW. Ahab decided he was tired of going only 5-6 kts running just the Genoa, so we set out the main with a single reef in anticipation of another day with winds gusting to 25 kts. Instead of fresh winds, we were rewarded with beamy, confused seas that had us rockin & rollin all day.
At some point mid-day I managed to drag myself inside to tidy up the galley and make some chicken soup. The boys spent most of the day inside playing videos games, watching re-runs of Modern Family, and apparently feeding pigeons because the cabin sole is now wall to wall bread crumbs.
We seem to be making decent progress towards Cape Verde, with an anticipated arrival sometime on Friday. Even though there were a couple people feeling lousy, no one has barfed yet, so that's something to celebrate. Looking forward to more organized sea state tomorrow, and surfacing from this drug induced haze.
