Saturday nights ARC+ welcome party hosted by Marina Mindelo was a great success with highlights from the traditional dancers and musicians. Suzana Tetlow, the Event Manager for ARC+, extended a warm thanks to Lutz Meyer-Scheel the Marina General Manager, Jacqueline the Operations Manager, Ivanice the Administrator Director, Tuga the Dockmaster, and the rest of the staff for their great preparations and hard work, and the wonderful hospitality to the ARC+ 2017 fleet.
The fleet’s crews enjoyed catching up about their experiences including many fishing trials and tribulations out at sea over cocktails and local food offered.
Helen, an Oyster 575 have been reporting Ed the Iguana’s adventures at sea and even helping out with night watches and provisioning!
There are now 55 ARC+ boats here in Mindelo.
