ARC+ crews sailed back in time to the 1980's - the decade in which the very first ARC rally set sail - for a trip down memory lane by dressing as characters from all the great (and not-so great) movies of the era. Characters from horror films, action flicks and even cartoons made appearances at the Club Varadero for the party.
The costumes were so good that World Cruising Club staff, themselves dressed as ARC Busters for the night, had a hard job to judge the winners of the best costumes in the various categories.
It was a great display from everyone but the winners were:
Best Children – K1W1-Beanz - as The Lost Boys
Best Woman – Annie from El Gato - as Cat People
Best Man – Darron from Lir - as Rambo
Best Crew – Weoghi - as Mutiny on the Bounty
