Ntanda - Blog Day 12 - Due West Finally!

It's Saturday morning, it's really rather hot (understatement) kites up, fishing rod deployed and we are, for the first time in what seems like ages actually going the right way.

My ocean navigator guru status has taken a serious bashing as I sent us south to sail around the hole. Every GRIB (weather file) we got said we would have NE winds when we turned the corner building from 8 to 15 to 25 knots making for a great finish whilst the rest of the fleet languished in the hole.

Anyway that didnt work, GRIBS got it wrong and we had light southerlys and squall after squall and lost loads of miles and ground; bummer!

We are now at last getting the sailing weather we have been looking for for so long, and not before time.
TTFN
Tack.
