We are due to fly out of Sydney at 15:30 today. I am out to squeeze a little more out of my time in Sydney. I have an OPAL card that covers buses, ferries, trains and light rail. On Sundays the most you can pay for all travel for the whole day is $ 2.60. What a deal! To burn the little time I have, I have taken the train to Circular Quay where I rode the ferry to Manly Island. Because of time restraints, I got back on the ferry to Circular Quay. I have boarded the train that takes me to the airport. It has been a beautiful day. The amount of people going everywhere was tremendous. I am happy that I am on the proper train to the airport and I am on time. I am not that much of a tourist but Sydney sure makes it easy to see their sights. It took me a little to slow down and learn about the transportation system and learn a little sense of direction. May fair winds fill your sails with free rides on Sunday! To follow are a few photos from this morning.
The train which I boarded about 1/8 mile from condo. It is convenient and clean. I just have to double check each time to make sure I do not end up at the wrong end of the line. Our condo was just around the corner at the brown building at the end of the train in the photo.
Apartment buildings and retail at an area called Circular Quay with the ferries in the water. This is one of the main areas to board a ferry.

This is from the ferry to Manly Island. There are sail boats in the center.
This is the North Head to the left. This is the opening to Botany Bay where Sydney is located. This is where you would enter in sailing into Sydney.
