Skyelark of London - Day 8

Day 8
An uneventful night, sadly not enough wind to sail so we have been motoring.
However, the spectacular stars in the moonlight were awesome. On my 4 to
7am watch I thought I saw a boat in the distance - but after much debate
realised it was Saturn! Not many boats to be seen now, just one or two a
day on the horizon. The wind has picked up a smidgen hovering 9kn so engine
off and back to main, head and stay. Everyone into their books now. We DID
catch a quite big Dorado but it managed to escape from the deck to see
another day. Yesterday's Tina Tuna was skilfully turned into some rather
good sushi by Dan. Dolphins had gone elsewhere last few days and I had
wondered when they were going to show up again and on cue, at sunset we were
greeted by a few on the bow. Wonderful sunset rounded off the day and no
doubt the silly hour later will return when David, Dave and myself answer
the unanswerable questions of life....why do flying fish fly?... see, we
have time to ponder! Looking forward to getting my lure named pinky out
again tomorrow... MUST get more tuna...
