PG Roshni - 22/11 2000 Main Line

16:21.0N 38.17.0W

Dropped the boom into the cockpit, the kicker came off surprisingly easily and Ali managed to stitch the leech using a piece of webbing in 4.5 hours. Using sail repair patches and tape the tear was covered and we hoisted again at around 4pm. Sadly while the webbing holds well the tape is lifting so we will probably have to have another go tomorrow. Fingers crossed it holds tonight.
Going head to wind is quite emotional - the seas are big and 25kn breeze in your face while holding on the mast to raise and lower asap is not exactly a good night out.
Running at 10kn+ now again most of the time.
Susan has been a star keeping moral and food going on her cooking day - I'm cook tomorrow - the bar is set quite high after a fab potato and cheese pie...
All of us need more sleep ...
All of us trying hard not to flog !
Sadly from being well placed we are down the leader board now but there's a long way to go.
Anyone know a good sail maker in st lucia ?
