Trillium - Trillium Has a Great First Day to the Galapagos

We had a beautiful sail all day our first day out. The fleet looked fabulous with genakers and spinnakers flying. Our vantage point was perfect being in the middle of the fleet. We took photos of many other boats and hope someone has a good one of us with the blue and white genaker flying. It was also a great day for fishing. Actually it turned in to a fishing contest with a lot of fun chatter on the VHF. We finally caught our first ones: three tunas, but one took off with our new lure just as we brought him to the boat. So the score is 2 for Trillium and 1 for the ocean! All is well and the sailing is great. Nick is learning and it is wonderul to have him here with us. He just learned that it is a "rhumb" line and not a RUM line! He is so disappointed!
