Luna Quest - Wednesday, 8th April, 2015

Noon Position: 16.33S 149.02W

Daily run: 52 miles

The two poled-out foresails that helped us along so well yesterday, had to be taken down first thing this morning as the wind had gone easterly and blowing us westwards, whereas we wanted to go south south west towards Tahiti. Now, with just a scrap of genoa out, we are managing a speed of just over two knots in very light breezes from the East. We do not desire any more speed at the present time as we are now aiming to make landfall tomorrow morning.
