La Rochelle - la rochelle tripping over our apparent

Having caught up yesterday with the back of the fleet , the breeze has dropped to 9 knots overnight.,but managed to Pass another couple of yachts last night(picked them up on radar).
Had a dream run yesterday afternoon as the breeze swung north and the kite went up , managed to average 8 knots in 14 knots of breeze. The kite came down at sunset along with the breeze.
We have spent the night winding the boat up and down at 120 degrees apparent managing to achieve high 5's, can't wait for sunrise to put the bag back up.( 8 knots apparent is the minimum to fill our sails so they don't flap)
This will probably be the last day of sailing as we are headed for a huge hole.
Hopefully our mother ship Josie Marie waits for us as they are carrying our reserve supply of fuel , she carries 1300 litres of diesel , we carry 250.
We have a small language problem on the boat , our Italian crew member has now started English lessons after being asked for a knife to be passed to the foredeck and delivering insulation tape instead.
We have a small problem making water as the "dragon" in the v berth ,where it is situated has restricted its use to when she is awake which is not very often , consequently we can only have one 10 minute shower a day instead of 2.

See you on the other side of the hole
Crew La Rochelle
