Day 6
So we all ignored the skipper with his instruction to only pack light weight clothing and thank goodness we did. Even Graham, Stan and Gus - the hardy Scots are finding it a wee bit cold at 3 am !!

C watch has now been upgraded from The Pink Bottle Watch (Gus & Pete) to the Wet Pink Bottle Watch due to the fact that its only rained on their watch ! However they were rewarded with a bit of dolphin watching and a marvelous bacon and fried egg sandwich cooked by our very own Capitano. Thank's skip. Talking of the skipper, his array of jokes still keep coming to the merriment of all, although Ian tends to go into a bit of a comma when he starts. Talking of Ian, due to the rain, he has now managed to turn his cabin into a Chinese laundry, I hope this situation will change before night fall!

The generator continues to be a bit temperamental but with some TLC from Nick and encouragement from the rest of the crew he manages to nurture it into life.
We are still finding plenty of excuses to celebrate Bier O'clock, G&T O'clock and Fine Wine O'clock. So may it continue !!

As per the last leg (see Ian's award winning blog), our Captain managed to find his laminated song sheets and a sing-along ensued - it was a good thing no one could hear us.....
On the fishing front, after a great start on day 2 catching a tuna, we have caught diddly squat !! However our hopes are kept alive with Graham's in-depth knowledge of deep sea fishing. I had better go and check the lines.
So readers it is time to go.....Happy Days :)

Editor's note. A new ship's motto has been adopted as it seems to be working, viz The beatings will continue until morale improves!
