Arcarius of Plymouth - Day 2

Day 2

Night shifts came and went and despite a little squall passed fairly uneventfully, the scenery and shooting stars provided a light show during each of our watch duties. Only one large frigate passed our stern and we are now enjoying the sunshine in the cockpit and on the bow. Wind has sadly dropped but the sea is sporting a piercing azure blue coat with the sun glistening and dancing across the waves. Whale spotting is our next goal. Sadly, no whales sighted yet but on the night watch of night 2, in torrential rain flying fish arrived to examine the stern, one nearly flew into the cockpit memories of Alfred Hitchcocks adaptation of Daphnine Dumauriers book The Birds, sent the Scarepirate scurrying down the companion way for cover.
