Sojourner - Day 9

Hi Folks,

We made a decision earlier today to take a more southerly heading rather than directly toward St. Lucia in order to avoid some low wind areas ahead of us. I think that will be a good decision in the long run but even where we are the winds have been only 10 to 12 knots so consequently our progress has been slow. The good news is that today has been sunny, warm and without much in the way of squalls. Pete made an Irish stew from scratch for dinner which was delicious. We are in somewhat of a hurry to cook up some things in the freezer that had thawed unexpectedly and thus the stew beef today and chicken likely tomorrow - unless of course Bob catches another fish. We have an order in for tuna. Also, we switched over to our second water tank today which was somewhat earlier than expected. Not to worry. We have plenty of beer, sodas, gin and wine. We won't be dehydrated!
