Firefly - More light winds

Knowing what the temperatures are like in the UK we don't expect any sympathy but could do without these rain squalls. The dark patches on the water in front of us looked like much needed breeze only to be disappointed and saturated in one go. We have all been caught out over the last two days. Fortunately they are over quickly and back to sunshine and a chance to dry out! As forecast we continue to be short of wind but we did sail part of the evening in 10 knots of breeze, and just after mid day we are A sailing again. The rest of the time we are motoring with Paul keeping a close watch on fuel supplies; we have plenty at the moment. Long range radio connections continue to be a challenge so hope you get this log soon.

Considering how large this ocean is, we continue to be surprised at how busy it is. We took avoiding action during the night as our path was predicted to cross within a few hundred feet of a very large cargo ship. Our AIS gave us plenty of warning though, so we had plenty of time to adjust our course to give plenty of clearance.

Paul, Murray, Peter and Grateful (just heard from G2 so is happy again)
