Silver Slipper - Santo Porto

Well we are finally leaving Santo Porto tomorrow for Madeira. On our way down direct from La Coruna our throttle cable broke.  3 weeks to get a spare sent here but a big thank you to fellow ARC yacht S/Y Eventyr, Anders and Elisabeth who lent us their spare cable. Two days of re-engineering and we are now ready for the off to Madeira where my Mums joins us for a week of R&R and then we are off to Las Palmas.

It’s so nice to see the ARC spirit in action and our very sincere thanks to Anders for his unselfish help. We owe them both a few drinks in Las Palmas.
