Mad Fish - Whats With the Weather?

Yesterday we had an uncomfortable day with 25 knots of wind just forward of the beam and some nasty waves. We were fully expecting as forecast that the wind would clock round to the west, then end up northwest, going north. Today we still have a southeasterly wind and it has gone light. The only thing that I can think of that may have happened is the low pressure has tracked further south than forecast and is passing right over us. This is not good as we wanted to spend time sailing in the downwind conditions that it should have brought us. I will find out what the future brings when I send this in the next weather report.

On the plus side the seas have eased right up so me may make some hot water later and treat ourselves to showers all round which is a good thing. The kids are occupying themselves by making daft news reports on Seans iPod which is entertaining. Fishing line is out but we are not quite going fast enough to catch fish at the moment.
