Day 5 at sea
Ohoi princess and princesses!
Weekend is over here at sea as we sail into Monday the
21th of May. There is not a very notable difference between weekday and weekend
out here on the ocean, but at least we manage to keep track of which day it is.
We can report the following activities on board this
Sunday fun day:
-
Mike and Kasper took a
shower
-
Per and Jake tied up our
supplies under the floor so they wont crack the bottom of our vessel open.
-
Bendik stopped taking seasick
medication, we hope he will be fine without them
-
Andy finished his book about
Florida
-
Richard and Per had a long
talk about heat pumps.
As you understand it has been an eventful day at sea, and
everyone is now in bed (except us guys on watch).
We have had good wind since last night, and life has not
been very straight the last 24 hours. Writing this we are leaning over 18
degrees. The average speed has been around 7 knots, so we are advancing
fast.
For dinner we had Shepards pie and holy guacamole à
la Atlantic, which was shuffled down with a
dark and stormy. Mike approves that the meal was great!
Other that that we have passed the 1/3 mark.
I was thought there would be dancing cheer leaders, keg stands, and fireworks
when that happened, but I was wrong. I looked around and all I could see was, as
always, dark blue sea. Considering the overexcitement that would have
accompanied the situation first described, chilling in the cockpit watching the
sea is actually really nice!
We hope you are all well on land, and that
North Korea hasn't bombed you
all the way back to the Viking age, and made a parking of the whole Europe.
See you later people on the internet!
Love and seaweed,
Kasper
