Easy Rider - Soy's log

Hola!
As Martin has mentioned (and I will mention again with great glee) a great start! The cut that we led through, in retrospect. looked like the eye of a needle! Marvellous start and what a great rush!
We are now on day 3, and I think today the winds will pick up....Nice to sunbathe for a bit but it would be nice to get moving a bit more!
The guys have been fishing like mad- the lure looks like something I would wear as an earring! Absolutely hideous. Probably scaring the fish away.
Both Martin and Kristian were feeling a bit sea sick on day 1 and I produced some Spanish seasick pills which I assured them would alleviate the symptoms immediately. Not one of my finer medical moves...wiped them out for about 10 hours!
Now they view anything I suggest with apprehension....
Lovely lovely day today! I have the best of watches- the first in the evening and the first in the morning! I claim these as I am the cook.  And the cook has a great influence on this boat!
Should that influence not work. I will slip them some more Spanish seasick pills! Believe it!
Ciao bella

Captain's Supplementary Log:

At last.....fantastic sailing downwind, in the sunshine!! Long may it last, we still have 1500 miles to sail before reaching the Azores.
All systems on Easy are functioning perfectly.
Soy & I have been extremely lucky with our crew. Two great guy's, Martin & his good friend Kristian from Denmark.
They both speak English fluently & are exellent sailors, & best of all they love Soy's cooking!!!

David.
