Quasar V a Moody 54 is jointly owned by Robert Locke, Malcolm Craig and John Dare. Robert met the others when he owned Quasar I, a Nicloson 30 and they have been sailing together since 1972. They bought the present Quasar in 2001 and have sailed in ARC’05 and ARC Europe ’06. Malcolm , coming from an engineering background has made many modifications to the boat and will be sailing all legs of World ARC with Robert and John joining for alternate legs.
