Another lovely day here in Musket Cove on Malolo Lailai as the World ARC boats continue to arrive and reunite with each other after some fine cruising. It has been a real luxury for many to be able to come alongside a dock and simply walk on and off their boat without having to launch their dinghy. Being together has also encouraged a great sense of community within the fleet, something that has grown stronger and stronger over the last few months as the participants have got to know one another much much better.

Last night (Wed 2nd July) a World ARC welcome rum punch was on Smiths’ Island beyond Nemani Island Bar. Many thanks to Musket Cove for sponsoring this drinks party. Fresh punch was served out of a giant Kava bowl much to the delight of the participants as well as light snacks served by Musket Cove staff. With a great view at sunset in an awesome location, it was hard not to have a pleasant evening. A total of 17 yachts are now in Musket Cove and more are due to arrive today, hopefully in time for tonight’s main Pig on the Spit feast at Dick’s Place Bar and Bistro starting at 1830.
