Around the World at the Sydney Boat Show

World Cruising Club's Nick Martin wants to inspire you to use your boat to explore the world!

Come and join Nick at the Sydney International Boat Show (2-6 August) at 6pm every day on the main stage for a trip around the world in 20 minutes!

If you have ever picked up a magazine and dreamily gazed at that single yacht anchored in half-moon bay, surrounded by shimmering turquoise blue sea in front of any empty white sand beach...then dream no longer.

'Around the World in 20 minutes' is an introduction on how to put into action that once-in-a-lifetime dream adventure of sailing around the world in your own boat.

Nick will be giving tips and sharing stories from his own experiences and lessons learnt from both sailing on, and then forming part of the team that organises the world's only round-the-world sailing rally for cruising yachts.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to transit the Panama Canal in a 40ft yacht; sail into the chaos of Brazil's Carnival after a month at sea; dive with the unique sea-life of the Galapagos Islands; or see the night's sky a thousand miles from land, then this is a talk you can't afford to miss.
