Hello,

We are two experienced Irish female sailors in our late 20’s looking for a boat to join for this year’s ARC race.

Between us we have 30,000+ NM as skipper and crew on various vessels including Tall Ships, Catamarans, Monohulls and Dinghys. We are both experienced in the world of sail training, racing and cruising, RYA qualified and have two ocean passages under our belts including Arctic Circle- Scotland and New Zealand to Australia.

In addition to our sailing qualifications, we also consider ourselves competent cooks, handy with maintenance and always good for a laugh to boost crew morale.

Please contact us by email lozzer47@hotmail.com,

We look forward to hearing from you,

Lorraine & Emma

hi!

My name is Maxi and I'm a 24 years old italian-argentinian guy. I've spent the last 7 years living and travelling around Europe and Australia, and now planning to go to South America to cycle from Ushuaia to Alaska. That's why I'm extremely interested in joining your team for the ARC and gain more experience in sailing. I'm very reliable, hard working and easy to get along. Also a good cook, and i speak fluent Spanish, English and Italian, plus some French, Portuguese and Russian (you never know!). For a better idea about me you can check my little travel blog on http://maxigasparri.blogspot.com or my profiles in facebook or couchsurfing.org ("maxi gasparri").
I would like to ask if it's still possible to join you, and what are the approximated costs. You can contact me on maxx_rhapsody@hotmail.com
Thanks in advance and wait for your news!

Maxi

Hello everyone,

I am a very experienced offshore racer with time available to do ARC2011 which is something I have always wanted to do but which business has always interfered with... So maybe you can help me fulfill my dream and I can help you have a really great transatlantic trip?

I have many years of offshore race experience in RORC races including Fastnet and other long distance races. I'm an excellent allrounder who is totally reliable. I'm a trained engineer but also a great cook. I don't suffer from seasickness. I tell great stories on those long watches through the night. I've also been known to repeatedly fix the heads when they get blocked but not really looking for that position this time around... I can be available from early November to help out with all those last minute preparations, and experienced in rigging, sails, electrics, etc. I'm also a good photographer and blogger and very happy to help document and record the trip.

Please get in touch if you think there may be a mutual opportunity - my email is: james.rock@me.com

Best regards, James

We are an experienced couple with over 25,000 ocean miles between us. We crewed in the ARC-Europe 2010 and would like to crew in the ARC 2011 to complete the circle. We are US citizens, USCG licensed, ASA instructor, emergency physician, chef, nonsmoking, mechanic/plumber/electrician.

Hi,

I am a 30 year old Australian (I speak english spanish and french) with lots of sailing experience both in Europe and off the eastern coast of Australia. I have also worked running a 50 foot beneteau as a charter boat in the Carribean (San Blas Panama), responsible for all mechanical and electrical repairs onboard. My girlfriend is 28, German (speaks German, spanish and english) with some sailing experience, no overnight passsages, but a great cook and is currently completing an intensive course in watchkeeping duties and navigation.

We are looking to complete the Atlantic crossing this year on a safe boat with a good crew. We're available from now untill Christmas. We will be continuing on to Panama to start a new sailing project.

We are happy to contribute towards fuel and food.

If you have space for two capable and enthusiatic crew members, please let me know.

Hej Chris,
we are an inexperienced couple, but wish to cross the atlantic in a sailing boat. We are Elisabeth and Georg, 27 and 29 years old. Georg used to work as a research engineer in a hearing aid company in Copenhagen. Elisabeth has finished her studies in pedagogics, sports and geography in Bremen, Germany.
We both have big interests in traveling and outdoor activities and consider ourself as open towards new things, independent and mature.
When it comes to sailing we are, unfortunately, lacking experience. However, we are highly willing to learn it and can contribute to any other work necessary on bord. We are also willing to contribute financially by sharing costs.

If you have place on your boat and can imagine taking us with you, we would love to hear back from you.

Hi.
I started sailing at 13 and
captained the college team from 16. I am now 54, non smoking and have an
engineering company. I am appreciated as a cook. In recent years I have skippered around a dozen flotillas in the Med and Carib. I have yachtmaster ocean theory but just dayskipper
practical. More miles required! Ambitions a plenty and my country life
ensures fitness. I am looking for ocean sailing and has previously included Gib to Canaries. I am resident in Nottinghamshire, England, and available at short notice.
