We are an experienced Irish couple, 28 & 31, available for a long term adventure. We are easygoing, fit, have stamina, a good sense of humour and camaraderie and we don't get seasick. Your trip sounds ideal.
I, (Fionnuala), am a Commercial Yachtmaster and Electrical Engineer with approx 20,000 nm including transatlantics in both directions, extensive experience around Europe and the Caribbean on both sailing yachts and research vessels. I have also helped home-school children onboard.
Kieran is a Day Skipper and Software Engineer with extensive fishing boat experience and an Irish Fisheries Board diesel engine maintenance qualification.
We met 8 years ago when we worked as beach lifeguards on the SW Irish coast. We are available from mid June 2012 and have a good year to spare. We can offer flexibility, experience and long term commitment in exchange for a cost neutral trip.

Hi Vaughan
We are a British couple in our 40s looking to sail across the Atlantic on the ARC 2012.
We'll both be working as dinghy instructors in France through July and August and will be available from Sept onwards to join you wherever you are and hopefully for the ARC. We are really flexible.
This will hopefully be the first passage in our plan to sail around the world.
We are both experienced (sea) dinghy sailors with some larger boat experience on the UK coast and channel.
Karen competed for several years in RORC/ Fastnet qualifiers in the channel with ~2000nm. John has done a couple of channel crossings and has RYA day skipper.
We have current 1st aid, Offshore safety and Sea survival certificates.
We are both practical (engineering backgrounds) and good cooks, John speaks French and Spanish and Karen dabbles in French.
We are of course very happy to contribute to expenses.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please either contact us through this forum or at karenbradfield@hotmail.com or johndavys@yahoo.co.uk or on +44 7967 813172.
Happy and safe sailing,
Karen and John.

Hi Vaughan
I have been trying for some time now to find a boat to join for the ARC 2012 in November. So if you are interested I would love to hear from you.
Thomas Jensen, Danish (with a name like that, what else.) have been around for a while, to be precise, since 16.Feb. 1957. Consider myself fairly fit.
A reason for you to maybe choose me would not be my many years of experience at see, but I was brougt up by the sea and I have done sailing on charter boats as well as having smaller sailing boats myself. But I know what to do on a sailingboat and I am not joining as a skipper. So if would to give it a try with me, I can garantee you a reliable person who is easy to get along with. Some engineering skills which might come in handy.
I have a german "sportbootfuehrerschein"
Looking forward to hear from you, and if you would like to meet me before taking me onboard, I sure it can be arranged.
Thomas

Myself, Phin(21) and my girlfriend Eliza(19), are looking for a couples position onboard a yacht for the Atlantic ARC 2012. We have both grown up around boats and have a natural ability to turn our hand to most things boaty. We are very keen dinghy sailors at heart and are currently working at a RYA recognised sailing school in Norfolk (norfolketc.co.uk). Eliza is a qualified Dinghy instructor and has a leading role in the team. I am in my 6th season and I'm a RYA senior Instructor, powerboat Instructor and one of the two centre managers. With regards to yachts I am a Yachtmaster (Inshore) and have skippered yachts on deliveries for a number of passages around the UK. Eliza has been a valuable crew member for the majority of these passages. With her broad knowledge and experience of sailing, along with her love for being on the water, Eliza makes for an worthy crew member with aspirations to work her way up the yachting ladder. We have both also worked for Sunsail in Greece untertaking a number of roles from Dinghy Instruction to yacht maintenence and quayside assistance for the Flotilla. We are both easy going and hard working people who get on with anyone and we are looking for a constuctive and fun passage. I am also looking to build up my miles to with the view to getting my yachtmaster offshore. We are both happy to contribute to the everyday runnings of the ship from watch keeping to cooking and cleaning. We are very fortunate to be in a flexible position therefore any job circumstances involving the boat, owners and the voyage can be up for discussion.
