I am sailing my yacht Coral IV, a Hanse 461, in the 2012 ARC. As I have limited time available, I am looking for an experienced skipper and crew that can sail the Hanse 461 from one of the Carribian islands to Europe; preferably Oslo, Norway. The time of departure for Carribia will probably be late January or early February 2013.
Only qualified candidates with a adequate licenses and a proven track record will be considered.
Update Dec 29th 2011: Thanks for all responses. I have received quite a few through various channels. It will take some more time before I decide on the way forward. //Kolbjørn

Hi there Kolbjorn,
I'm a qualified RYA coastal skipper, done quite a fair bit of sailing for 12 years. Latest thing I did this season was the Fastnet race.
. I'd be interested in helping out. And in doing the 2012 ARC as well!

Hi Kolbjørn,
We are a husband and wife team each with a USCG Master 100 ton inland license, USCG Mate 100 ton near coastal license both with sail and towing endorsements. We also have our STCW 95 BST, Basic and Advanced Fire Fighting and Radar Observer Unlimited certificates. We are United States citizens and have USA passports. We both have more then 800 days sea time and I have over 30,000 ocean miles. We are both Licensed, drug tested, professional sailors with references.
Monica and I started our sailing careers on tall ships. All of Monica’s sailing experience is on tall ships. For the past 2 summers I have been working on getting the offshore sea time I needed to upgrade my USCG License to “Near Coastal Master”. We are looking for an opportunity to get Monica up to speed on Yachts.
You can see my resume here: http://charlescook.com/Resume/CookCharlesFBoatingResume.pdf
You can see Monica's resume here (a little out of date): http://charlescook.com/Resume/Resume_MJH_2010.pdf.
I can provide you with references if you feel there is a match between your needs and our experience.

Hi I'm am a 55 year old civil Engineer, with an MCA/RYA Coastal skipper certificate of competence and 30 years sailing experience. I own a Westerly Fulmer, which i keep in Florida, and have sailed the Bahamas, Florida, Uk south coastal waters and near French waters.
I am taking early retirement at Jan 2013 and so I will be free to assist in your mission to return your boat to Norway, time will not be a problem. I would rather be one of the crew since i do not have previous transat experience, although i have been offshore.
Regards
Bob

Kolbjørn Haarr! I am 31 years old Russian airline captain would like to be considered on this passage. Here is short sailing info: been in racing sailing for 17 years starting from Lazer and finishing 50 footers in various positions (mostly skipper). Areas of sailing: Baltic, Black, North, Medeterranian Seas and Atlantic. For the past 6 years I charter a 45-50 footer as a skipper twice a year in Greece, Spain. We average 450 miles one trip. Sailed on Hanse470, 2012 taking Hanse 540. Besides this I have: Fastnet Race 2009 on Sigma 38 as helmsman, 2010 Summer from Fredericia to Bergen in 4 days on Scampi 30 (helped norwegian guy to relocate the boat), ARC 2011 as a co-skipper on Bavaria 40 ocean. All the passages can be confirmed. I only have costal skipper license as this one meets my needs in chartering boats.
Should you have any question please do not hesitate to contact me on runway067@gmail.com
Thank you

Add my name to the hat if you will, as skipper or crew. Very fit, able sailor. Retired business executive, 58, with 50 years sailing experience. Been a USCG Lic Master for 40 years now. I currently do delivery work part time (just in from a trip from the Bahamas, next up a trip to Panama from St Thomas) , cruise my own boat, camp and hike the back woods, and I "Ranch Sit" too. I can also cook, organize things, and I'm very responsible. Lite drinker, non smoker, very neat and clean. Keep me in mind, and give me as much notice as possible so i can clear the decks. e mail is cullensailor at g mail dot com
