Yesterday, one of our Directors, Jeremy Davis had the chance to tour two Hurricane Hunter aircraft, the NOAA WP-3D and WC-130J that are currently on an awareness tour along the East Coast. They were in Albany, NY yesterday.

Unusually warm sea surface temperatures are helping to promote tropical development between New Zealand, Fiji, and E'ward toward French Polynesia. Additional develop is possible south of Fiji in the coming days.

Tropical low pressure will linger offshore NE'rn Queensland then begin to move SW'ward while strengthening further over the next couple of days. If you have travel plans around the Coral Sea coming up, be sure to get a fresh forecast.
