Outline program for ARC DelMarVa 2014
Seminar Program: May 18, 2014. A comprehensive Seminar in Annapolis, including offshore sailing and DelMarVa route planning and navigation. This seminar is mandatory for the skipper and at least 1 crew member.
Skipper's Briefing: Saturday June 7th in Annapolis.
Start: Sunday June 8th, 10.00 off Annapolis Harbor
Leg 1: Overnight sail from Annapolis, MD to Portsmouth, VA. Ocean Marine Yacht Center will host the first stopover.
Leg 2: Tuesday June 10. Depart Portsmouth, VA to Delaware Bay.
Leg 3: to Annapolis, via the C&D Canal.
Finish: Saturday June 14th off Annapolis
Prizegiving Party: Saturday evening, June 14th in Annapolis.
What's included in the sign up fee?
Boat Entry Fee: $475
Crew Fee: $75
If you sign up and pay the boat entry fee before February 28th, 2014 you will get the "Early Payment discount", a 5 % discount off the Boat Entry Fee!
Entry to the rally includes a comprehensive seminar on May 18, 2014 in Annapolis to help prepare you for the trip, special pricing on dockage at Port Annapolis Marina (and a host of other local discounts), Skipper's Briefing's before the start of each leg, a Farewell Party in Annapolis the night before the start, meals, drinks, crew t-shirts, a boat flag and more!
Whilst at sea, you will get weather forecasting provided by WRI and GPS tracking by Yellowbrick, a radio net among the boats and shore support from the World Cruising Club team. So get your boat ready to head offshore under the full moon, and join us!
