Nexus - A little rain, then great sailing!

After a brief period of motoring in very light winds, we saw a great string of rain squalls approach from the South East, which came to wash our boat and deliver the wind we ordered. We're now sailing along at 8-10kts in 15kts of wind again. No fish so far, with two lures in all day yesterday, but we keep working it. We're over 1200 miles from Galapagos now, with 1800 to go to Marquesas. We had a large white and grey sea bird circle the boat yesterday, looked like a cormorant. He just said "hello" and cruised on by. We saw a fishing boat on AIS about 15mile away, and had a tanker pass within a couple of miles this morning, but otherwise lots of beautiful sky, and lots and lots of ocean. Smooth sailing and all is well.
