Entries are limited to a maximum of 80 boats for Hampton to Tortola and 25 boats for Hampton to Bahamas.

Entry Fees
The entry fee is made up of a boat fee and a crew fee, payable for each adult on board the boat.
Boat entry fee               $1,100 (Tortola route)
Boat entry fee               $1,000 (Bahamas route) 
Multihull supplement      $  150
Crew fee per person       $  125
Kids under 16 years go free!

Early booking boat fee discount of 5% before May 31
Owners who sailed in 2011 Caribbean 1500 are eligible for one free crew fee, worth $125

What do the entry fees include?
Before you even get to the start, we help with your preparations by providing a comprehensive Rally Handbook and regular newsletters, and we’re here to help you find crew and answer your questions by phone or email.   The Rally Handbook will be sent to each owner/skipper, and is also available for download by any registered crew on the Member's Area of the website - just log-in!

In Hampton VA:

What date does the rally start?
The 2012 rally will depart from Hampton VA on Sunday November 4, weather depending

How are the entry fees calculated?
Entry fees are calculated on your boat length and the numbers of adults sailing on board. Children aged under 16 are free.

I haven’t bought my boat yet, can I still enter?
Yes, just add your boat name/type as "unknown" on the entry form.

I don’t know how many crew I’ll be taking, is this a problem?
No, you can add more crew via our website at any time.

What happens if the entry list is full?
Once the rally entry list is full, we will hold any subsequent bookings on a waiting list, pending withdrawals. It is best to book early to avoid disappointment.

What happens if I pay to join, and then can't go?
If you enter and then decide that you won’t be able to take part in the rally, you can either choose a refund or to transfer to next year’s rally. A 50% refund is available for withdrawals made in writing (by email) before October 1, 2012. There will be no refund for withdrawals made after this date.  Or you can chose to transfer your entry fees as a credit towards the next year’s rally, less an administration charge of $200.
